Where Is Fremont?

Our Local Favorites:

Parks and Recreation

Fremont is a great place to experience the great outdoors. Popular spots like J. R. Peel Park, Main Street Park, and The Martin Luther King Jr. Park offer open spaces to exercise or relax, playgrounds, and ball fields for residents to enjoy. You’ll also find various events and festivals in these green spaces throughout the year.

This town may not be known for being home to many major attractions, but luckily for its residents, there’s plenty to do just around the corner. Southern National Motorsports Park is home to many exhilarating races throughout the year and a great place to go with friends or family. And if you’re looking for something a bit more historical, the Tobacco Farm Life Museum in Kenly offers a glimpse into the past.

Shopping and Dining

Fremont might be small, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t plenty of excellent places to grab a bite in town. Capitol Cafe on Main Street is known for its simple, homemade fare, including sandwiches, burgers, and fries. Aggies is a go-to spot for great subs and mouthwatering wings. And if you’re looking for something a little different, nearby Goldsboro is home to some great restaurants and breweries.
